Operator and acceptance
These terms govern PDF Reader - Scan & Edit, operated by Nova Tech AI Limited, Hong Kong. By using the application, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the application. You must have legal capacity to use it, or any permission required by local law.
Permitted use and your files
You may use the application for lawful document tasks on compatible Android devices. You retain your rights in your documents, images and signature artwork. Only process, copy, sign or share material that you are authorized to use. We process content as necessary for functions you request, as explained in the privacy policy; these terms do not grant us ownership of your files.
Document accuracy and signatures
Rendering, editing, conversion, merging and printing can change layout, image quality or document features. Keep original files and backups, check output before relying on it, and verify compatibility with your recipient. Password-protected or complex documents may not be supported. A drawn or inserted signature image does not establish identity, verify authority, certify a document or guarantee the legal validity of an electronic signature. Obtain appropriate advice for important documents.
Advertisements and current payment model
The current application is supported by advertising. No subscription or in-app purchase plan is offered in the current configuration. Availability of features or ads can depend on region, device and connectivity. Any future paid offering will require clearly disclosed pricing and separate purchase confirmation; these terms do not authorize a charge.
Third-party services
Some features rely on Android, Google Play services, scanning components, advertising, analytics, notification services, and the apps or printers you choose for sharing. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. An internet connection may be needed for downloads, advertising or service features. We do not control third-party availability or all supported document formats.
Restrictions
Do not use the app to infringe rights, distribute unlawful content, impersonate another person, forge an unauthorized signature, disrupt services or bypass access controls. Respect software licenses and applicable law. We may limit service access for abuse or security reasons where legally permitted.
Availability and liability
We aim to maintain useful document tools but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free conversion, or suitability for every purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the application is provided as available. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory guarantees or remedies.
Changes and contact
We may update the application and these terms. Material changes will be communicated where required, with an updated effective date. For support, complaints or questions, contact developer@novatechai.xyz. Your rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
