MenuWorkbench Terms of Use
Effective: 3 October 2026. These terms describe use and support of the MenuWorkbench macOS app from Nova Tech AI Limited, Hong Kong SAR, China. Contact: developer@novatechai.xyz.
1. Scope and app license
MenuWorkbench is a local macOS productivity utility for notes, a current task, focus timing and optional system integrations. The license for an App Store copy is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and applicable App Store terms. This page does not replace that license, create a custom App Store EULA or reduce rights granted by Apple or mandatory consumer law. Apple is not the provider of our app support.
2. Purchases and refunds
The current product uses a one-time App Store purchase, not an app subscription. The purchase price and currency shown by your local App Store at checkout apply. Payment, purchase access and refund requests are handled through Apple and your Apple Account. Refund eligibility follows Apple's process and applicable law. Contact Apple through its refund-request service; do not send payment-card details to our support email.
3. Permissions and your records
Calendar, Reminders and notification access are optional and controlled by macOS. Some features remain unavailable if permission is refused or revoked. Creating or completing a reminder changes your system Reminders data. Setting a note or reminder as the current task preserves its source and does not automatically complete the reminder. You retain rights to your own notes and other content. Keep backups you need; imported backups replace app business records and exported JSON files are unencrypted.
4. Appropriate use
Use the app lawfully and respect the rights of others. Do not use it to access records you are not authorized to access, infringe intellectual-property rights or interfere with other people's systems. These terms do not restrict interoperability, security research or other activities to the extent they are permitted by applicable law.
5. Timing and external links
Notifications and displayed timing depend on macOS permissions, sleep, device availability and system settings. The app is an everyday productivity tool and should not be relied on as a safety-critical, medical or emergency alarm. A meeting link, custom link or browser-based speed test opens a separate service; its availability and terms are controlled by that provider.
6. Support, updates and limitations
For support, email developer@novatechai.xyz with the app version, macOS version and steps to reproduce the issue, after removing personal information from attachments. Features may be fixed or changed through app updates. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every future macOS version. Any warranty or liability limitation is subject to Apple's applicable license and mandatory law; nothing on this page excludes non-excludable warranties, consumer remedies or liability.
7. Privacy and changes
Read the MenuWorkbench Privacy Policy linked on this page for local storage, clipboard handling, optional permissions, website logs and support correspondence. Material changes to these terms will be reflected here with an updated effective date. Updates do not retrospectively remove mandatory consumer rights or alter Apple's license for your purchased copy.
